I founded Cascadia Intelligence Lab to translate lessons from intelligence analysis, research, and higher education into practical programs that help organizations think more effectively.

Across my work as an analyst, researcher, and instructor, I have repeatedly encountered the same challenge: organizations have access to more information and more powerful tools than ever before, but better information and better technology do not automatically produce better judgment.

Cascadia focuses on the human capabilities that sit between information and decision-making. Its programs help professionals improve how they structure problems, evaluate evidence, challenge assumptions, make judgments under uncertainty, work collaboratively, and use emerging technologies more effectively.

The curriculum draws from analytic tradecraft, social science research methods, decision science, forecasting, critical-thinking research, and practical experience. Programs emphasize active learning and application rather than passive instruction, using exercises, simulations, cases, and facilitated problem-solving to help participants practice the skills they are learning.
